I carry a notebook cover that I created years ago that holds my journal and planner. I was writing in it at an airport gate once when I noticed the lady next to me kept glancing at it. We started a conversation and she mentioned she also used a similar sized notebook as I did and asked where I got my cover. I explained I make them, and she asked if I could make one for her. I gave her my card, and this was the result, a simple, clean and elegant cover for her A5 Leuchtturm1917.

The pearly white goatskin offers a feminine and professional, sophisticated look. The purple lambskin liner was this client’s favorite color which gives the overall cover an incredibly soft and supple feel that is only sure to get softer while still maintaining the shape and structure necessary to protect a hardcover notebook. The perimeter is handstitched with purple thread. The pen loop is the same leather as the cover for a consistent look and feel.
